The Little Lakers lost another battle against Rockford. After trailing by four points in a very competitive first half the bottom completely fell through during the 2nd half. It’s the second game in a row where we seemed to be very competitive the first half only to fall apart during the second half. Turn overs, missed shots and missed defensive assignments definitely played a part during the tough 2nd half. The JV Lakers are now 1 and 2 and play Fruitport Thursday. Leading the Lakers in scoring were Madalyn Lisman with 7, Julia Bajt and Maddie Ryan with 3 and lastly Mia McDermott with 2. Rebound leaders were McDermott with 9, Lisman with 7, and lastly Eva Tilton and Bajt with 4 each. Natalie Sawyer led the team with 2 assists. Tilton led the Lakers in steals with 3 followed by Bajt, McDermott, Fogel and Sawyer all with 2 a piece.
